What to Expect
Maybe you are visiting, or returning to church, or coming to church for the very first time. Or, maybe you're an active church member who just moved to Maui and needs to find a new church home. Whatever your story may be, you probably have a lot of questions before you visit Kihei Baptist Chapel.
Here's our attempt to guess what's on your mind and answer your questions. If we've missed something, let us know! You're probably not the only one with that question, so asking us will help us help you and future guests.
What is your Sunday schedule?
Sunday Bible Studies meet at 9:00 AM. Worship gathering is at 10:00 AM.
What do I wear?
You'll see people in everything from t-shirts to ties on Sundays. Most dress casual and comfortable. Our concern isn't what's on the outside, but what's on inside. Please come as you are. Besides, Jesus accepts us as we are when we come to Him. Why shouldn't we?
Where do I park?
We set aside reserved parking for first time guests in our south parking lot -- conveniently near our main entrance. General parking is also available in other parts of the south and north parking lots.
Is there anything for my children?
Of course! We have Sunday options for newborns through 3rd graders during our Worship Service on Sundays. And if your kids want to, they can join you during Worship Service instead of being with other kids their age.
Will I find a seat?
The choice is yours. In the church I grew up in, some people had "their" seats. What if I unknowingly sit in somebody's seat? Don't worry about it. Sit wherever you want. Nobody has a claim on a seat. In fact, we'll even let you save seats for your family and friends!
